Uncheck the 'Check for Updates on Internet automatically' box - this is easily missed during installation and could lead to giveaway community members having an unregistered program when you next update the program.

Since today's GAotD comes with support for a year and 2 months, this is hardly likely to be a pressing problem. Further, since a GAotD who uses this giveaway so much that they would miss it if they did lose the use of it, and they can get it for free by so many different means (including writing to the Aml Pages developer and giving a good reason to get it for free) there really isn't any danger, unlike the usual GAotD, of an update knocking off the registration. Most of all, that last line in the description, that free updates are available until 8/2013 (not even 2012!) tells me that this is not a necessary change.

Uncheck this setting on menu "Tools\Settings", tab "Actions" - see to line "Check for updates on Internet".

But You can check new versions manually, use the menu command "Check for updates" (this is the singular action, launched by user manually, but not automatically).
